Of course harpy liberal feminist Lena Dunham would say something like this about dads, especially on Father’s Day. This chick, if you could call her that, claims that fathers aren’t really necessary in the family unit. “You don’t need a father – so many families work so many ways- but if you have one he better werk,” wrote the Girls creator. Apparently she doesn’t believe what she tweeted or she got immediate blow back because the post was deleted almost as soon as it went up. According to Daily Wire’s columnist AMANDA PRESTIGIACOMO: After I posted a screenshot of Dunham’s deleted tweet, she replied (while simultaneously blocking me, #Brave) saying she loves men and “alternative families.” That’s why she said children don’t need fathers. Or something.  Clearly, Dunham’s brand of “feminism” hinges on the demonization of men, as seen with her declaration that a man’s role in a family is unnecessary. But nothing could be further from the truth; men being present in their children’s lives could not be more vital. Here are some statistics for Dunham to chew on: 63% of youths who commit suicide come from a fatherless home. 70% of all juveniles in “state-operated institutions” come from a fatherless home. 71% of all high school dropouts come from a fatherless home.  85% of all children who display behavioral disorders come from a fatherless homes. Hard to argue with those facts and numbers. Now, if Dunham really cared about children and feminism, she should be pushing for men to be good fathers to their offspring because that means more strong, independent women in this world. But excuse us for being logical. Dunham just wants to hate men, we guess.
